BUILDING BEYOND BRICKS

Leveraging our academic understanding of co-creation and participatory processes, we will actively define our role in the design and implementation of the pastorie project, working in partnership with local stakeholders, citizens, artisans, experts from various disciplines, and professionals.

We will on one hand inspire and work together with the architects in charge of the renovation of the Pastorie and on the other hand design and, as mentioned, build together with others a pavillon that will extend the functions of the project. Our aim is to create a sustainable and visionary project that will foster the communal spirit of Houthalen-Helchteren and set new examples for public interventions of this kind.
