Leveraging our academic understanding of co-creation and participatory processes, we actively define our role in the design and implementation of the pastorie project, working in partnership with local stakeholders, citizens, artisans, experts from various disciplines, and professionals.

On one hand we inspire and work together with the architects in charge of the renovation of the Pastorie and on the other hand we design and, as mentioned, build together with the community a pavillon that extends the functions of the project into the garden. Our aim is to create a sustainable and visionary project that foste the communal spirit of Houthalen-Helchteren and set new examples for public interventions of this kind.
